Willow: Made of pawsome

Willow

I had to post about this store, because it is made of awesome. Or pawsome, as we tinies say. They sell art, which is always a plus, ooh and books! Yay for books! All of their items look good. And you get some freebies. Their fox kitchen towels are up for Fifty Linden Fridays today. Btw I love the Floorplan sim design, too.

Tinies Rock!

Tinies Rock! and so does the designer of these pawsome tiny clothes. Have you seen the new shop at Heron Shire? It is next to Tea's 1980's Retro Store, by the bridge where you cross from Raglan Shire to Heron Shire. Chow's has been a known brand in tiny fashion for years now. I remember when I first came to the Shire that some of my best finds were Chow's even then. Now I happened by the new store and just had to post about it. If you are looking for something fancy, or something fun for summer time, this is a good place to start. The cute flipflops are just 30L$.

Kalopsia and Goober Town

While doing my Fifty Linden Fridays rounds today, I found this lovely store Kalopsia by Isabeau Baragula. I love the use of textures and the ethereal quality of the original meshes. The fifty linden items were cool, too. The idea of the bird table is really clever. And the windy window curtains and flying papers would be great for a photoshoot.

While Kalopsia seems directed at more of a grown up audience, the nearby Goober Town houses mainly stores intended for child avatars and families. The town is worth seeing for anyone who likes good design. The sim is g-rated, so definitely family friendly. The infrastructure seems to mainly be from Never Totally Dead, which is a great new find for me.

Chapter Four, a pleasant shopping experience

I went to see the Chapter Four sales event as I remembered it usually has quite a good selection. It has been featured in some great blog posts lately as well, such as this one by Nerd Finds, for example.

Having had stores of my own in SL, I am always interested to see, how designers make their vendor images, and how the store design is done.

The Chapter Four shopping skybox is gorgeous, so well designed and put together. The colors, the feel of things, the athmosphere, is lovely. I liked the nicely framed vendor images and the little stages under the displays. This store is designed to make shopping easy and pleasant.

What originally inspired me to take pictures and make a post was the framed image above the display by Moon. It looks like a piece of art that you might see in a gallery, yet the display and the image work well together and the shopper finds all the information they need quickly. I loved seeing that all the displays were done with similar care and knowhow.

For a shopper this place is heaven. I left with a huge pile of items. And there was a lot there for someone wanting to buy gifts as well, especially in the gacha section. I wholeheartedly recommend this shopping experience.
