Cloudie with a chance of pawsome

Had to make an ex tempore post while visiting Kalopsia. "Wall Cup Lights" is really cool and it is great mesh for just 2 Li. It was still there on Saturday, even thought it was meant for Fifty Linden Fridays. Can not promise how long it will be available, though, so get there, fast. You have texture change options, and can turn lights on off in two partitions. And the couch on the right, "Brit's Loveseat - Patine", for Neighborhood is lovely. It seats two and is 4Li.

MishMish Cloudie Piggy is a companion for C88, and comes with a rezz option, as well. They have bunnies and cats, too.

Kawaii and cake

Some of you know me as the Cake Fox. And of course a Cake Fox needs to have cake in her fancy castle. I was looking for a spot to show you these cute lamps by Mishmish and what better place for them than by the nommy cake machines by Kalopsia. The best part about the machines? They actually work! Your friends can compile the nommiest and best looking cakes and things and your party is a quaranteed success. The machines were given to me by a great friend, Tipsy.

The castle I got from someone very special to me, my SL uncle Dru. I feel like I have finally settled in and found my place in Second Life. This is the most beautiful building I have seen in the virtual worlds. The Rustica landmark takes you right to the castle, and I included one for the petite version, as well. Look at how lovely those windows are, imagine how great they are to look at when the light hits them just right.

Stardust

Kalopsia and Goober Town

While doing my Fifty Linden Fridays rounds today, I found this lovely store Kalopsia by Isabeau Baragula. I love the use of textures and the ethereal quality of the original meshes. The fifty linden items were cool, too. The idea of the bird table is really clever. And the windy window curtains and flying papers would be great for a photoshoot.

While Kalopsia seems directed at more of a grown up audience, the nearby Goober Town houses mainly stores intended for child avatars and families. The town is worth seeing for anyone who likes good design. The sim is g-rated, so definitely family friendly. The infrastructure seems to mainly be from Never Totally Dead, which is a great new find for me.
